Prize Support at the Rocky Mountain Open 2025

One ticket gets you a full weekend of legion, and it’s not too late join in on the action!

Once again the prize support is absolutely STACKED thanks to our incredible sponsors. Every single sponsor this year is a returning supporter, and we are incredible grateful for their continued support of our community.

Legion Bingo

Legion Bingo is a new game we’ll be playing at RMO 2025 to spice up matches and award prizes! At the beginning of the first round, all players will be given a bingo card (there are multiple variants!) containing different objectives, events, outcomes, etc. that can happen during a legion game. Some are easy - like “Play a game of legion”, others require skill “Finish 5 full rounds in 2.5 hours” and others are pure luck based “Rally 4 or more suppression off in a single roll”.

Players will mark their squares as they achieve them by having their opponent initial the square to verify it happened. Players who complete a horizontal, diagonal, or vertical line will be awarded a prize! The first player to complete a line will get a special prize, but up to 24 more players can win a prize by completing a line! Bingo lasts the entire weekend and squares can be marked off in grand tournament or chaos doubles games.

FLG Achievement Dice

All players will also have a chance to win an FLG achievement die per the FLG achievement dice program! This program awards players with custom dice for achievements at the convention separate from their success on the battlefield! Per FLG’s Blog Post:

“…there will be 5 different achievements awarded by Frontline Gaming judges. Each game system’s head judge(TO) hands out these dice, and it is up to their discretion as to who gets awarded. While there is a general theme for each achievement, it is ultimately the individual head judges that make the final call on who earns achievement dice and how many they will hand out during their tournament. The 5 initial achievement dice that can be earned are:

Indomitable – Finish the entire tournament by playing in each round, even if you have lost every single game.

Young Gun – Participate in a tournament if you are under the age of 18.

Fluff Bunny – Include extreme elements of lore or have a cohesive theme that your army is based around. Cosplay can be a huge part of this.

Skilled Painter - Have a superbly painted army that stands out from the majority of the event’s participants. This may include making the top cut or showcase at an event, or be purely based off a paint score.

Good Human – Be the best possibly opponent and demonstrate exemplary sportsmanship during the event. This is not limited to just actions taken during games but at the event as a whole.”

Painting Awards

Players at the event are encouraged to enter their armies into the painting competition we will be holding over lunch on Saturday, and we’ll be giving out awards for the following categories:

  • Best Painted Army

  • Best Painted Hero

  • Best Painted Vehicle

Artis Opus has once again sponsored our painting competition and has provided their Series D Drybrush Sets for our winners! Additionally, winners will receive a beskar trophy to commemorate their achievement

Champions

The main event grand champion, the top ranked players in each faction in the main event, and the top ranked chaos doubles team will receive the classic 5280 Legion Beskar trophies to commemorate their victories.

Additionally, the main event grand champion will receive an FLG plaque and an invite to the 2025 LVO Invitational Tournament at the Las Vegas Open this October. The top 8 players in the main event will also get LVOI points to help them try to secure a spot in the invitational as well.
